Once installed, you can see the Bring to OneNote option available inside the view tab. Click on this option and it opens the menu where you can select the OneNote where you want to send it to.

When you click OK, it opens OneNote with the content you have just exported and the file is editable inside OneNote.

This add-in is helpful if you want to quickly send text from Word documents instead of manually copying and pasting to OneNote.
