How to Install Google Toolbar

Google Toolbar is so convenient, that it has a superior search box, numerous custom buttons. what’s more you can add improved bookmarks to it. And you can easily download the GoogleToolbar on the website. Do as the following to install it. 

Google Toolbar for Firefox is compatible with Firefox version 4 or older. If you use Firefox version 5 or newer, you won’t be able to use Google Toolbar. However, you can still add similar functionality to the browser by trying one or more of the following Firefox add-ons.

Toolbar for Internet Explorer

  1. Visit the Toolbar homepage: http://www.google.com/intl/en/toolbar/ie/index.html

  1. Click Download Google Toolbar to install Google Toolbar for IE and Firefox.
  2. If you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, click Accept and Download.
  3. Click Run in the File Download window.

Once Toolbar finishes installing, it’ll appear at the top of new Internet Explorer and Firefox windows.

Toolbar for Firefox

  1. Visit the Toolbar homepage.
  2. Click Download Google Toolbar to download Google Toolbar for Firefox.
  3. If you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, click Accept and Download.
  4. Click Install Now in the Software Installation window.

Don’t see the Software Installation window? Firefox may have blocked the installation. If you see a message appear at the top of your Firefox window, follow these steps to allow downloads from Google:

  1. Click Allow in the message at the top of your Firefox window.
  2. Click Install Now in the Software Installation window.
  3. Click Restart Firefox in the Add-ons window.

Once Toolbar finishes installing, it’ll appear at the top of new Firefox windows.
