How to Uninstall Google Toolbar

This article to help you uninstall Google Toolbar from IE or Firefox.

Toolbar for Internet Explorer

To uninstall from the Toolbar

      1. Click the down arrow next to the Toolbar’s wrench wrench icon.
      2. Select Uninstall from the drop-down menu.
      3. Click Uninstall the Google Toolbar.

To uninstall from the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel

      1. Click the Windows Start menu button.
      2. Select Control Panel.
      3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
      4. Select Google Toolbar for IE.
      5. Click Remove.

Toolbar for Firefox

To uninstall from the Toolbar

      1. Click the down arrow next to the Toolbar’s wrench wrench icon.
      2. Select Uninstall from the drop-down menu.
      3. Click Uninstall.

To uninstall from the Firefox Add-ons window

      1. Click the Firefox Tools menu.
      2. Select Add-ons.
      3. Select Extensions at the top of the window.
      4. Select Google Toolbar for Firefox.
      5. Click Uninstall.

Note: If you use both Google Toolbar for IE and Google Toolbar for Firefox, you’ll need to follow the uninstall instructions for each browser. Uninstalling Google Toolbar for IE does not automatically uninstall Google Toolbar for Firefox.
