In this post, I’m going to mention 3 Dictionary extensions for your browser Google Chrome.

Foreign words are automatically translated to your language of choice.

Dictionary Toolbox – 1.7.9

This Dictionary Toolbox allows you to search for a word description within seconds. No dust and heavy lifting included. Added special trait with online dictionary compare to real live dictionaries is that with online you can have access to a broader and complete definition; also it automatically tells you if a certain word really exists or not saving you quality time.

Dictionary Lookup

This extension that allows you to quickly look up definitions of words and phrases in a clean inline box. The definitions come from Wiktionary, but have been preprocessed to reduce formatting and provide faster lookup. Hold a modifier key (Alt on Windows, Command on Mac, Ctrl on Linux) and double-click or select any word to look it up – an inline box will open to the dictionary entry of that word, usually including examples, audio pronunciation and synonyms.
