Tech tips: Enable or Disable Startup Sound in Windows 8

Sometime you want to start Windows silicent or with sound, so you have to turn off/ on the Windows startup sound. But how can to disable startup sound? This article will show you how to enable or disable startup sound in Windows 8. See more tips for Windows 8.

Step 1: Right mouse click on destop and choose Personalize from the context menu

Step 2: Click on the Sounds link at Personalization control panel

Step 3: Check the Play Windows Startup sound checkbox (at the bottom) if you want enable or not if want to disable then click Apply/ OK.
