Tech tips: Google’s PageSpeed Service – speed up loading of your web pages
In my previously post I’ve share you the PageSpeed tools is Google’s mod_pagespeed, that’s the tool for web master to speed up web site. Today I share you a tip to use PageSpeed Service from Google for speed up loading of your web pages.
PageSpeed Service is an online service to automatically speed up loading of your web pages. PageSpeed Service fetches content from your servers, rewrites your pages by applying web performance best practices and serves them to end users via Google’s servers across the globe.
The extent of speed up depends on a variety of factors such as content on your pages, browser, geographic location of access, bandwidth, etc. You can run tests to measure the speed up of your site in a few minutes. PageSpeed Service is currently offered free of charge to a limited set of webmasters during this trial period. Pricing will be competitive and details will be made available later.
How it works:
- You sign up and provide us with your serving and reference domains.
- You send traffic to PageSpeed Service by pointing your DNS CNAME entry to
ghs.google.com
.
How to use?
Then access your account, Create project…
In your account: Enable what service you want… turn on/off
And check the dashboard:
