Posted In Internet, Video tools, Web apps, Webmaster - By Techtiplib on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 With No Comments »

VEO Video Converter is an online video tool that includes a complete suit of video related services for professionals and casual users.

It allows you to convert videos uploaded from your own PC as well as those taken from cyberspace, for which you need to provide a URL. The supported video streaming services are YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Blip, Metacafe, DepositFiles and MyVideo.

In addition, Veo Video Converter provides you with a list of useful conversion presets that offer a wide array of final output formats for any use or device. The presets include iOS-iPod, Blackberry and Android among others, so Blackberry, Android, Windows Phone and iOS are some of the supported devices.

You can easily convert videos online to MP4, AVI, 3GP, OGV, MPG, WebM, FLV, and other formats, including .mp3 audio. You can customize your own formats changing the parameters for audio and video (size and height, bitrate for audio and video, FPS…).

Another feature is to provide the HTML code for a embeded player with the converted video to paste directly into your website, you don’t need to know anything about programming.

In order to improve the quality of interlaced videos, VEO provides presets to do ‘deinterlacing’. When the video go through this process (the video is deinterlaced), its picture quality as well as motion capture becomes much clearer.

Finally, you can upload your videos directly to video social networks as YouTube or to your  Amazon S3 account.

The application also comes with a tool called Cloud Transfer, a web app that allow you to move your content between servers and distribute your content “in the cloud”.
