Split partition with Partition Assistant could help you quick partition a hard drive. Especially, in Windows 7, you need not worry about hard drive covert to dynamic disk after creating a new partition.

To split partition follow:

Step1. Launch Partition Assistant. Right-click the partition which you want to split, select “Split Partitions”.

Step2. In the pop-up window, specify the related information for the new partition which will be split from target partition.
