How to Change the Color of a Document Page

Many users want to change the page background before using a Word document as a presentation or before printing on a color printer.

This guide shows you how to change background of the Word page in Word 2013.

Step 1: Select the Design option from the Word ribbon

Step 2: At Design tab, select Page Color, and then choose a color that appeals to you

You should notice that the document color has changed. However, you are not ready to print yet. We will need to adjust your Word setting farther to allow you to print backgrounds.

Step 3: Select the File option from the ribbon

Step 4: Select Options at the list on the left

Step 5: Select Display at the Word Options tab

Step 6: Then select Print background colors and images at Printing Options
