How to disable the Store in Windows 8

Windows 8 Pro allows you to disable the App Store to prevent other users from accessing the store and purchasing or downloading apps.

This article will show you how to disable the App Store in Windows 8:

Step 1: Open Run box by hit Windows key + R, type gpedit.msc in the box then click OK

Step 2: On Local Computer Policy page, choose Administrative Templates/ Windows Components/ Store. Then cduble click to Turn Off the Store Application in the right window.

Step 3: Choose Enabled then click OK and close out of Group Policy Editor

And the result: When click to Store icon on Start screen, the notice will be appeared:
