How to view and protect your saved passwords in Firefox

In a previous article I’ve shown you How to manage your saved passwords in Google Chrome, in this article you will learn to view and protect your saved passwords in Firefox.

How to view your saved passwords?

Step 1. Launch Firefox

Step 2. At the menu bar, choose Tools and click Options

Step 3. Choose Security tab, then click Save Password button

The Saved Passwords tab appears as the picture below:

Step 4: If you want to show your passwords, click Show Passwords button

Then click Yes to confirm your action.

Now you can see at the list by: Site name, User name and Password

Firefox, firefox tips, tech tips, tips, recover password, delete password, manage password, browser, protect passwordIf you want to remove password you can click Remove button to remove a single site that you’ve selected and Remove All button to remove all saved sites.

How to protect your passwords?

Step 1: On the Security tab, click the Use a master password

Step 2: Enter your password in the Change Master Password dialog box, then click OK.
