Developed by Infinity Games, and compatible with both the iPad and iPhone, WordBox revitalizes the wooden board game with vivid backgrounds, original soundtrack, and multiple modes of gameplay.

From the first move, WordBox is designed to challenge players and keep them thinking. Missions have to be completed within an allotted timeframe in order to earn bonuses, crystals, and higher scores. A player may connect tiles above or below one another, or at angles, and in blocks with tap and swipe controls making moves quick and simple. Similar to the old favorite, Tetris, the first player to create rows of words correctly wins the round.

With each game, players learn new words to achieve record scores. The game bypasses the limits of other vocabulary games, and uses an open dictionary developed exclusively for scramble/word games, and so there is no limit to the words that players can use in solitary matches, or multiplayer mode as they compete in the Game Center against players from around the world. The Hints function gives players the opportunity to learn new words, expanding their vocabulary, and giving them an edge in matches against their friends. The game is available for $1.99 in the United States, with in-app purchases available for $0.99 and $1.99.
