How to Fix error “pending” when install/update apps in Windows Store

Windows Store is first apps market has equipped on Windows 8 by Microsoft. Windows Store provides a wide range of application portfolio and you just click “Install” to install your favorite applications. However, there is an error that occurs quite often in Windows Store is suspended status “Pending“when we install/ update applications. This error occurs in a variety of situations, such as cut off the Internet connection when being downloaded that is always show “Pending” and will not download anymore or notice that can not install.

To fix this error you should choose Pending/ hanging application then press Pause/ Resume or Cancel to restore and reload. But if you still can not remedy the situation, you can follow the instructions below:

Open Start Screen (by press the Windows button) and enter the keyword “Troubleshooting“. The diagnostic tools Troubleshooting system errors will appear in the set “Settings“.

After pressing Enter, Troubleshooting window will appear and you should pay attention to the “System and Security“. Click on the “Fix problems with Windows Update“.

Try troubleshooting

The system will automatically detect errors and you continue to choose “Try troubleshooting as an administrator” to fix with the highest control.
