AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional is the excellent partition tool which allows you resize partition, smart align partition, migrate OS to SSD, or easily create bootable CD.

Based on the version 5.2, the  AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional v5.5 has been released with 6 new great features: compatible with Windows 8.1; Convert system disk between MBR and GPT styles; installing Windows 8 to removable flash drive; Migrate system to SSD and support MBR and GPT disk; Create Windows PE bootable media without having to install AIK/WAIK; Completely support hard disk with 4096 bytes sector size and Windows To Go Creator (not see in new features of AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard 5.5).

The features that most impressed me is “Windows To Go Creator“, which helps you easily to create a Windows 8 (and 8.1) Bootable USB device! This feature is only available in Windows 8 and 8.1 Enterprise Edition. Wherefore, with AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional v5.5 you do not either have to purchase Windows 8 or 8.1 Enterprise Edition, or use command line.

What you can do with “Windows To Go Creator“?

  • Save your personalized Windows 8 or 8.1 OS and use it on any compatible device.
  • Keep your work and home use of PC separate if you use the same PC for each.
  • Make “bring your own device (BYOD)” to work much easier.
  • No need to have a USB drive that is a minimum of 32 GB in size, just 13 GB capacity or larger.
