5 Ways To Open Advanced Startup Options in Windows 8 or 8.1

Way 1: Tapping or clicking on Restart while you are holding down the Shift button, then wait for the Advanced Startup Options menu opens.

- Restart your PC
- Choose the boot option for System Recovery, Advanced Startup, Recovery,… (Tip: You also can press F11 to start System Recovery)
- Wait for Advanced Startup Options opens

- Open the charms bar/ Settings/Change PC settings
