Customize Start Menu In Windows 10
Windows 10 preview has been released with great new features (you also can download and trying the Windows 10 Preview), Microsoft has added some features that Windows 8 has not been added. This article helps you How to customize Start Menu in Windows 10.
# 1. To open the Start menu you should click the Windows logo or press Win logo. (Read more Keyboard Shortcuts For Windows 10).
# 2. On your right you can see a grid of live tiles on the right size. With a Right-click on one of them, you will see several options including:
- Unpin from Start
- Pin to taskbar
- Uninstall
- Resize (Small, Medium, Wide, Large)
- Turn live tile off
To move a tile, long-left-click on the title then drag it to the desired location.
# 3. To resize Start menu: moving your mouse to the top edge of the Start Menu and resizing down.
# 4. To change color of Start menu: by right-click any empty space and choosing Personalize.
# 5. If you would like to pin a program to the Start menu, just right-click on the program title, and choose Pin to Start or with long-left-click on the title then drag to taskbar.
# 6. Add Control Panel or Special Items to left side of Start menu
Right-click on any empty space and choosing Properties/ Start Menu/ Customize then choose what item that you would like to add to Start menu
# 7. The Start menu can be resized to several predefined shapes as seen in the examples below. Resizing the Start menu is similar to resizing a normal app’s window. All you have to do is move the mouse to the top edge, and then drag it down until it resizes to the shape that you want.
