Windows 10 Build Supports MKV Videos
Windows 10 preview has been released with great new features (you also can download and trying the Windows 10 Preview), one feature that many people are surprised is that Windows 10 Build Supports MKV Videos – that means you can play video MKV formats without installing any software. This is the first time Microsoft brings the ability to read MKV files on Windows.

In the updated Windows 10 recent build 9860 has a feature that Microsoft did not mention is play video MKV formats without installing any additional software. As you know, MKV format is very commonly in sharing high definition movies, but does want to play these files on Windows, you have to installed an external software like K-Lite , VLC, ABC Player. However, with Windows 10, Windows Media Player can play MKV videos easily! There is an error message will pop-up when you open a MKV videos, but your the file is still playing if you press “YES” button.
