Enable “Egde” and Hidden Calendar in Windows 10

There are two hidden features in the Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9926. The first is the source of the construction site “Egde” of Spartan browser that has included in the Internet Explorer but not yet activated. According to Microsoft, this source is compatible with HTML5 and performance enhanced with web browser. In addition, it also helps the site to load faster than what the source of “Trident” of the current Internet Explorer. Below is the way to enable this feature:

  1. Run the Internet Explorer
  2. Type about: flags in the address bar
  3. In line Experimental Web Platform Features, click “Enable”
  4. Press “Apply changes” button
  5. Restart the browser is finished

Hidden Calendar 1

The second hidden feature a full calendar in Windows 10 clock bar. With this feature you can quickly open calendar without running to the Calendar app. How to enable this feature:

  1. Press Windows + R to run the Run dialog box
  2. Type in the word regedit, and press Enter
  3. In the new window that appears, browse the path “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell
  4. Right-click in the blank in the right pane > New> DWORD (32-bit)> rename the registry key is created “UseWin32TrayClockExperience”.
  5. Click the bar of the Windows clock to see the difference.
