Although 2016 has not been a great year for many industries, the one sector that continues to boom is the tech industry. From internet security to cloud computing, social media to software, the tech industry is booming with innovation and is continuously growing. And with growth comes success. Suffice to say, it has been a good year for tech founders and CEOs. Some of the world’s richest people are involved in the tech industry.

The famed business magazine Forbes recently put together a list of the top 100 richest people in tech. Combined, these talented individuals are worth a whopping $892 billion. To highlight how significant the tech industry’s wealth is, the minimum net worth of these clever entrepreneurs is $2.2 billion.

The people at ERS Computer Solutions Ltd. sent us over this fascinating infographic that features the top ten richest people in tech. It includes Ma Huateng (also known as Pony Ma). Huateng founded Tencent Inc., one of the biggest internet companies in all of China. Tencent Inc. controls China’s large mobile instant messaging service and its subsidiaries that provide internet, entertainment, media & mobile phone services all over China. As of 2016, Huateng is estimated to be worth $22 billion.

The infographic also features Jeff Bezos. Bezos founded Amazon.com the world famous online merchant of books as well as various products and services such as video streaming. With an estimated fortune of $66.2 billion, Bezos is one of the wealthiest tech billionaires in the world. Surprisingly, Bezos’ fortune has increased by $18.4 billion over the past twelve months.

The infographic also features a table that displays the countries that have the most tech billionaires. The USA, China and Canada have the most amount of tech billionaires while Brazil and Australia also feature on the list.
