Without it, how do you expect to stay in touch with friends and family, checking on your social networks, or listening to your favorite music? However, it can be pretty expensive to get that screen repaired at the store, which is why there are tons of DIY ways for you to repair it right at home. Keep reading down below to learn more about how you can do this!

  1. Oils and Creams, Like Turtle Wax

This first one is one that you’ve got to be careful with. A lot of smartphones, including the latest iPhones, are going to come with a coating that will get completely destroyed if you use polish to try to get rid of the screen damage. However, if your phone doesn’t have this certain coating on it, then you are good to use normal car scratch polish to get rid of the cracks on the surface of your screen. No matter what kind of polish or cream you’re going to use, make sure that you cover up the ports of your phone before applying it. All you have to do is put some tape over the openings to ensure that nothing gets through that shouldn’t get in there!

  1. Eggs and A Chemical Mixture

This one is an idea that you should try at your own risk. However, a lot of people swear by mixing up eggs and a mixture of potassium aluminum sulphate in order to get rid of those cracks on your screen. It’s recommended that you soak a clean cloth in the mixture and then dry it up in an oven at 300 degrees. You should do some searches online about the exact way to use this method before you attempt it!

  1. Using Sandpaper on The Screen

Another method to getting rid of those scratches is to use sandpaper to grind them away. Now this one you’re going to have to be super careful with as you can easily damage your phone’s screen even more. Make sure to get the most high-quality sandpaper that you can and to only apply a bit of pressure when you’re trying to sand away the screen cracks.

  1. Vegetable Oil

If you only want a temporary fix before you get the screen fixed by a professional repair service, then you should definitely use some vegetable oil on the screen. You just have to rub a drop onto the scratch and it should conceal it for the time being.

  1. Baking Soda as A Way to Fix That Crack

It’s been shown that when you mix up baking soda and water, this can create a great mixture that will get rid of those scratches. Gently rub the mixture onto the cracked screen and you are going to be able to get rid of those scratches in no time. It’s about two parts of baking soda for one part of water that you should be using!

  1. Replace the Screen by Yourself, Without Having to Go to The Store

Of course, another great way to get that screen fixed is to just replace the entire screen yourself! Depending on what kind of smartphone or regular phone that you have, you can just search for different screen repair kits that you can use to fix it up yourself. You can easily buy these online and they are pretty easy to use!

  1. Good ‘Ole Toothpaste

Of course, another great way to fix up those scratches is to just use toothpaste. Toothpaste is a great abrasive that you can use on any scratches, no matter whether or not they are on your phone.

Each of these DIY methods are going to help you repair that screen damage you may have on your phone. Which one are you going to try out?
