Tips For A Well-Built Real Estate Website

A modern real estate professional always has a great business website in their digital arsenal.  Your business website can do a lot of your marketing work for you. Even as you sleep, you will have a constant open door to prospective clients.

There are a few aspects of web design your website should always include to make for a successful online experience.  Here is a brief overview of a few tips that will help you design a well-built website from the very beginning.

Responsive web design is crucial

If you haven’t yet heard the news, mobile web use is now officially more common than that of PCs and laptops.  People like using their smartphones to access the internet, and that means your website should be optimized for mobile use.

Make sure you add media queries to your coding, so your website will display properly on several different screen sizes.  Make sure mobile users feel welcome and make their experience solid.

Communication builds relationships

It’s important to keep in touch with your target buyers and expand your connections whenever you get the chance.  Your business website design provides a perfect opportunity to cultivate new connections.

Add a “Contact Us” page, of course, but make a more targeted effort than that to reach new home seekers.  Add a contact number on your homepage, a contact form on your “About Us” page, and learn how to write out a compelling call to action.

Provide plenty of vital information

Your real estate website is purposed to provide information to consumers without needing the meeting of two people in real life.  You need to use your website as a platform to show the world just what you have to offer.

If you’re marketing apartment spaces, create a page for the floorplans you have available.  Add virtual walkthroughs of different options you have available for prospective tenants, so clients will know exactly what to expect.

Create an easy to use platform

Your website should be easy for visitors to understand.  If they can’t figure out how to use your website, then you could lose some possible business.  Before you ever launch your design, try it out from the perspective of a web user.

Add social media linking to your design

Social media can be a powerful marketing tool for your real estate endeavors. Integrate social media into your website and everything else you post, for that matter.  On your website, make sure there are social media sharing buttons visible in all the right places.

If you’re not sure what places are the “right” place, do a little research on the proper placement for sharing icons.  Your blog and your homepage are two good places to start.
